  • RuleWatcher is being used for the "Climate Displacement" expert meeting by Japan Gov.

OSINTech Inc. (HQ in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture; Masato Oda, CEO) is providing its web service RuleWatcher with the ability to collect and share information of rule-making from all over the world to the expert community by the Ministry of the Environment starting July 25, 2022. The community was set up for contributing to the well-being of climate-displaced persons. The number of "climate refugees" who are forced to flee their homes due to extreme weather conditions caused by global warming is increasing. The World Bank estimates that the number of such climate refugees will exceed 200 million by 2050, making the prevention of their occurrence and the establishment of support systems after their occurrence an urgent issue. However, the mechanisms of climate refugee outbreaks are diverse, and support for climate refugee outbreaks is also known to cut across disciplines. Therefore, it is essential to organize the mechanisms in an interdisciplinary expert community, and to consider effective support in concrete terms through cooperation between the public and private sectors, with the use of climate funds and other resources in mind. An example of information collection: data from around the world is extracted using a variety of key phrases indicating "people forced to migrate due to climate change" and clustered by word. Information can be drilled down from each panel. RuleWatcher is a web service that allows users to organize and explore primary information from national governments and international organizations, grouping it into various themes. Existing themes include not only climate change mitigation and adaptation, but also food systems, global human rights, and a wide range of other areas that can encompass the concept of climate refugees, making it the platform of choice for use by professionals in multiple areas related to climate refugees. We will continue to receive input from the expert community and gather information as we organize the generation, spillover, and damage mechanisms of climate refugees. Project for forming an interdisciplinary expert community to contribute to the well-being of climate-displaced persons If you have any questions regarding this matter, please feel free to contact us at OSINTech Inc. • A new theme "Food System" was added to RuleWatcher.

OSINTech Inc. (Kobe, Hyogo, Japan, CEO: Masato Oda) has added a new theme "Food System" to its web service "RuleWatcher" which visualizes rule trends in various countries on June 1, 2022. RuleWatcher is a web service that organizes and visualizes primary information issued by governments and international organizations on global issues such as the environment and human rights. (For more information on RuleWatcher, please click here.) Pandemics and wars. Many of you may be aware of how vulnerable our globalization of food is to such events. A new addition to RuleWatcher, "Food Systems," covers information from governments and other sources spanning food production, processing, transportation, consumption, disposal, and circulation. Data from 700 government announcements filtered by the "food security" tag after the invasion of Ukraine. Clustered by common words by machine learning (click on each tile to view individual articles). It automatically collects and machine translates into English a vast amount of outgoing information from over 850 government and other websites, narrows it down using keywords related to the food system, and performs natural language processing. In recent years, large-scale agriculture, livestock, and fishing industries have been extremely unbalanced, producing enough food to feed the earth's population of nearly 8 billion people, but in reality causing massive waste and starvation on the other hand. Behind the scenes, labor rights violations, deforestation, land degradation, water depletion, and pollution pose an imminent danger to us all. The data displayed in RuleWatcher is tagged to make it easier to understand these groups of problems and the measures taken to address them. An example of a tags Tags assigned by our own thesaurus The information is handled centrally in Arabic, Russian, Thai, and other local languages of each country, and is collected without any time delay from the time of transmission, so that information can be gathered without relying solely on news reports. We hope that many people will find the information on food system issues and policies useful, and we have included information streaming in the free version of the site. Streams available in the free version. Information published by governments and international organizations is tagged by content (you can also use filters to narrow down and summarize what you want to know, or receive alert e-mails). In introducing this theme, we are grateful to Ms. Midori Hiraga*, who has been active in this field for many years, for his help in supervising the collection terminology. The food system is a source of major problems, but it also contains important solutions to climate change and biodiversity, depending on our ingenuity. ※Ms. Midori HIRAGA hiraga@midori.info Associate Professor, Faculty of Economics, Kyoto Tachibana University; Visiting Researcher, BKC Institute for Social Research, Ritsumeikan University. • OSINTech Becomes 10th Company in Japan to receive B Corp Certification

Press Release 5th April 2022 OSINTech (Kobe, Hyogo, Japan; CEO: Masato Oda) received "B Corp Certification" on March 24, 2022 from B Lab, a non-profit network (established in 2006, headquartered in the United States), which certifies clean companies that are recognized for their social and environmental contributions. The number of "B Corporation" certified companies worldwide is approximately 4,500, and this is the 10th company in Japan (as of March 24, 2022). B Lab evaluates companies for B Corp certification based on the following unique criteria. - contribution to the world by engaging in "social and environmental activities" - committment to "accountability" to your business stakeholders - Maintaining a high level of transparency by disclosing its organizational operations both internally and externally B Corp certified companies have passed the "B Impact Assessment," a rigorous examination of these factors, and the report, "B Impact Report," is made publicly available on bcorporation.net. Message from CEO Masato Oda OSINTech believes that it is essential for many people to focus on rules in order to bring solutions to global issues. That is why we created RuleWatcher, a web service that uses natural language processing technology to visualize data transmitted by governments and international organizations around the world. We want to create an era in which each of us can play a leading role in creating and implementing rules, instead of making and operating rules only by someone with a loud and powerful voice, and each of us can play a leading role in creating and operating rules. With this philosophy, all the members, including myself, are having fun and evolving RuleWatcher day by day. In the past, many companies have driven their business around the demands of their shareholders. In recent years, this trend has begun to change significantly. We are seeing a shift toward a more socially oriented approach, which we call "stakeholder capitalism". This concept is familiar to Japan in the term "sampo yoshi (good from three directions)". It is the idea that it is good to be able to contribute to the seller, the buyer, and society. We believe that we need to evolve the concept "sampo yoshi" to extend that includes the global environment. And also we felt that there are many similarities between this concept and B Corp certification. It goes without saying that these certifications are a great way to increase corporate value, but what we hoped for even more was a community among certified companies. B Lab's act of granting certification is not merely a recognition, but a movement to promote clean business practices worldwide by creating a community of certified "B Corporations". As a member of the B Corporation, OSINTech will join the community of certified companies to further resolve global environmental and social issues. History of OSINTech November 2018 Founded February 2019 "MIRAI 2019" MIRAI Secretariat Award June 2020 RuleWatcher® released August 2020 RuleWatcherPro®(RuleWatcher advanced tool)released October 2020 Plan for improved administration approved October 2020 Joined Covid-19 infection impact assessment with text mining of global regulations. • Breaking news! The battle has started near the RuleWatcher login screen!

On April 1st, near the RuleWatcher login screen, the Knights of Intelligence are clashing with Dr. Fakeu, the dark lord who is trying to spread Fake information. Click here to see the login screen during the battle.→ https://www.rulewatcher.com/ RW-078 (a.k.a. Wat-chan), a robot who collects and contributes information from around the world to RuleWatcher, Osin, an OSINT apprentice administrator, and Uncle Telly, a master of intelligence, are fighting a defensive attack by Dr. Fakeu, who leads a droid army of splittist forces. OSINTech Inc. was on the verge of collapse under a DoS attack by the ruthless dark lord Dr. Fakeu, but thanks to the work of the Knights of Intelligence, the kidnapping of the engineering leader Shisho was not attempted. However, those who still shirk, take for granted, and spread the word are expanding the divisive forces. Oh! Now, Uncle Telly's special move "Intellusion" has been unleashed! In addition to lies and propaganda that are intentionally spread, misinformation is also prevalent on the Internet. These disinformation, often emotionally charged, can be spread without the recipient confirming the source. In recent years, it has become possible to use artificial intelligence, known as "deep faking," to synthesize images and videos as if they were uttered by a certain person, making it increasingly difficult to determine the truth or falsity of information. This was particularly noteworthy during the 2016 U.S. presidential election. Hoaxes were flying around that affected the campaign, and by the end of the election, phony information had garnered more attention than stories in the mainstream media. The more unsettled times of the year, such as infectious disease outbreaks and wars, the easier it is for false information to spread. Even as we do this, the Knights of Intelligence continue to protect the world of RuleWatcher, which is limited to primary sources of information. Please support their heroic fight on the login screen. May the Intelligence be with you... (A picture taken on 1st April near login screen) April 1, 2022 OSINTech Inc. • [Press Release] Proof of Concept with UNOPS

OSINTech Inc. (Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, CEO Masato Oda) has started providing its online platform RuleWatcher® to the United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Water and Energy Sector (Austria)* for evaluation and verification of the effectiveness of information utilization and various functions. UNOPS conducts development assistance projects in various parts of the world and collects information from time to time on the policies of target countries and the procurement of goods and technologies required for development assistance. However, since the information is transmitted in multiple languages, it requires a great deal of effort to collect it. OSINTech's RuleWatcher® has been recognized as having the potential to contribute to solving the problems of UNOPS, since it can handle multilingual information sent out by governments and other organizations in a unified manner. Therefore, we will identify and add new crawling targets (information sources) for UNOPS in the field of water and energy, and set up search tags and visualization for RuleWatcher®. Through the trial use of RuleWatcher®, UNOPS will evaluate the reduction of information gathering labor and the improvement of information sharing within the organization, and will also evaluate the possibility of applying RuleWatcher® to other fields and regions not covered by this demonstration.
