Our member attended "The 4th DeKUT International Day at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology" in Kenya
On the 18th of September 2026, The 4th DeKUT International Day at Dedan Kimathi University of Technology was held and one of our members was invited to speech.
University faculty, staff, and students participated in the event.
DeKUT has many faculty members who earned their degrees at Japanese universities, and this event is viewed as an important opportunity to strengthen exchange and collaboration with Japan.
OSINTech Inc. was the only corporate participant among those from Japan.
Building on this event, a continuous collaborative relationship has begun to take root, as evidenced by participation in our online event “The Cost of Not Knowing,” held on September 26. We issue a separate news release regarding that event.
Our member, Mr. Ogura, gave a presentation titled “From Local Curiosity to Global Intelligence.”
Plastic bottles discarded on the side of the road in Kenya are collected, recycled, and transformed into components for products made by major corporations, such as automobiles, laptops, and apparel. The familiar local landscape is, in fact, the gateway to the global supply chain.
Recycling is promoted not only because it is “the right thing to do,” but also—and significantly—because international regulations mandate the use of recycled materials; for individuals and companies in need, plastic bottles discarded on the side of the road are as valuable as “gold.”
While generative AI is useful for connecting these concrete, everyday insights to international trends, given the risks such as hallucinations, it is good practice to first obtain datasets from reliable sources, feed them into the AI, and have it perform the analysis. He shared a perspective on how to effectively utilize RuleWatcher as a dataset.
Thank you very much for inviting us to this valuable opportunity for exchange!
